Who we are
Our website address is: https://HistoryofChristianTheology.com. Grant Hallstrom is the sole owner of any information collected through this site.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
This site does not collect personally identifiable information. The only personally identifiable information we may have is any information that you voluntarily send us through other direct contact from you. This site does not utilize or receive information submissions from contact forms.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Social Sharing
The sharing technology we utilize is GDPR compatible. We do not track any user data via social sharing. But if our sharing plugin depends on any third party service, that service might track user data. We send your request to third party APIs via the website-visitor’s web browser to allow you to share to the service of your choice. We are not collecting your “social shares” or “social comment count”. This request made by your web browser may include an IP address, which can then be seen by the third-party that it’s being requested from. This API request doesn’t include any personal data of the website user other than the IP address.
Other websites you have visited
Some external web sites may provide links to our site. These links should not be deemed to imply that we endorse the site or their content. We do not control and are not responsible or liable for any site we do not own or for any content, advertising, products, or other materials on or available through them. Access to these sites is at your own risk and we have no liability related to such sites or their content or for any damages or loss caused by or in connection with any purchase, use of, or reliance on any content, goods, or services available on or through any other site.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how non identifiable users use the site. For more details about Google’s use of cookies please see our Cookie policy page or any publicly stated policies by Google.
Who we share your data with
Your data is only available to employees of our company or any third party providing services while performing regular and necessary duties of their contracted services for us.
How long we retain your data
We retain your data for as long as needed to maintain a relationship with you or until you notify us to delete any information regarding you.
What rights you have over your data
You can request to receive a disclosure of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
You may opt out of any future contact from us at any time by contacting us. We honor inquiries including your request to:
- See what data we have about you, if any.
- Change/correct any data we have about you.
- Have us delete any data we have about you.
- Express any concern you have about our use of your data.
Please keep in mind that any opt-out choice you make will not apply in situations where (a) you either have made, simultaneously make, or later make a specific request for information from us, (b) we use your personal information for fulfilling your requests or (c) we shared your personal information with respect to disclosures to comply with law and to protect security and safety.
It may take up to thirty (30) days for your opt-out choice to be fully effective. Our systems require time to update, and mailings using your personal information shared before your opt-out may already be in process. Finally, please keep in mind that, if you have not consistently used the same postal and e-mail addresses on our website, or if you have used a general change of address process (such as the change of address process offered by the U.S. Post Office) after providing address information on our website, systems maintained by us may have varying contact information for you. Accordingly, it may not always be possible to match your new opt-out choice with your personal information that you previously provided.
How we protect your data
When you visit our website, your visit is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon in your web browser, or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.
We also protect any visit information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, site security, performance, or analytic evaluation) are granted access to site statistics. Personally identifiable information that you have sent us for any reason is only accessed by employees who need to perform specific customer service duties. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
If you are a minor, you may use this service only in conjunction with a parent or guardian.
Data breach procedures
If any of your information is ever compromised by theft or any other unexpected event, we will notify you within 30 days through the contact method we have on file for you.

We do not have automated decision making or profiling systems in place nor do we use your information for advertisement solicitations.
