HISTORY of Christian Theology

The doctrine that Jesus’ spiritual essence was reunited with his physical body and that other humans will likewise live again with their spirit or soul reunited with their material body. This term does not refer to the doctrine of the immortality of the soul that the soul continues to live after being separated from the body in death. Many Christian confuse these two doctrines, but they are distinct.
