HISTORY of Christian Theology

The ultimate goal in most Eastern religions referring to the end of the cycle of existence in the phenomenal world. This term in primarily associated with Buddhism, that teaches it is achieved through the extinction of the fire of life and realization of non-self and complete emptiness. In most Indian religions it simply refers to the state of quietness and complete happiness achieved through the escape from the cycle of physical existence (moksha).
