Muhammad ibn Abdullah (c. A.D. 570–632) founded the Islamic faith, based on the Quran and the belief that he was the final prophet sent by God to confirm the monotheistic teachings of Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and other prophets and to unite Arabia under that belief.
