HISTORY of Christian Theology

Maimonides (c. A.D. 1135–1204) was a Jewish philosopher from Cordoba under the Islamic Almoravid Empire. His work on the Talmud was considered persuasive authority in the Jewish community and his efforts to reconcile Aristotelian philosophy and science with religion influenced Muslim and Christian thinkers.
