HISTORY of Christian Theology

(A.D. 1485–1536) Catherine of Aragon was the daughter of Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain. She married King Henry VIII of England but failed to produce a mail heir which survived past infancy. This was a major contributing factor to the English Reformation.
