HISTORY of Christian Theology

Dietrich Bonhoeffer (A.D. 1906–1945) was a German theologian and pastor who was best known for his opposition to Nazism and especially Hitler’s euthanasia and genocide programs. Bonhoeffer was executed near the end of World War II, and some Christian denominations have identified him as a modern martyr.
