HISTORY of Christian Theology

(c. A.D. 2 Mar 480–21 Mar 547) also known as Saint Benedict of Nurcia. He is credited with founding modern monasticism through his written rule for life in a monastery called the Benedictine Rule, which became a model for other monastic orders.
